At Bridges, we believe in not only exercising the mind but the body by offering a selection of sports and in-school activities to keep the students moving and energized. 

PHYSICAL EDUCATION & ATHLETICS

Our Campus & Programs

Our campus is equipped with a full-size gymnasium, indoor playground as well as outside playgrounds and playing fields.  Our gym is a place where we engage student determination and commitment, where we build team wellness and oneness. Sports like basketball and volleyball will take place at our gymnasium while other sports like baseball and soccer are played at our partner facilities.

Bridges athletic programs include an annual ski trip to Jiminy Peak. In our community outreach programs, we have done “Hoops for Heart”, “Jump Rope for Heart,” "Mama Bear Run," and the MS Walk at Jones Beach.

Bridges opened in September, 2013 as a fully independent, federally recognized not-for-profit, offering Preschool through 8th grade,  an “all-through” school with no need to change schools at various grade points.
