On behalf of the students, faculty, staff, administration, and Board of Trustees of The Bridges Academy, I would like to wish you a warm welcome. Our school embodies the meaning of what a good school community, or "school family", should look like. Our students are known as individuals and pushed to be the very best they can be, all due to the care and concern of experienced teachers who look out for their academic and social-emotional well being, and families who are involved within the life of the school.
A member of the New York State Association of Independent Schools, our program offers a wide variety of experiences that will appeal to all types of learners. Whether it's participating in an activity such as a school play or soccer game, or it's trying something new such as playing in a chess tournament, experimenting within the Science lab, tinkering with an engineering project in the MakerSpace, or planting something in the Green House, our school has something for everyone. With robust foreign language offerings in Mandarin, Spanish and French as well as a well-rounded, enriched foundation in Literacy, Science and Math, our program supports children in helping them to embrace what they are most passionate about, all of this while developing the Character, Confidence, and Knowledge that will propel them into the fast-paced twenty-first-century global environment in which they live.
It has been reported back to us that after their graduation in 8th grade, our students go on to change their high school and college campuses for the better. There is no better way to begin this journey than to experience this harmonious and close-knit community than by visiting.
